Terms and Conditions

1. Access & Availability

May we have access to water/electricity on days of construction?
You are not required to be home during this process, but please be available as much as possible if needed.


2. Scope of Work

Customers acknowledge that rafters, framing, soffit, and fascia are not part of the roof repair/replacement unless clearly noted in contract.
Any hidden conditions, building code requirements or related issues that result in additional labor and/or materials will require a new signed contract to proceed.
Construction crews will re-nail any loose wood. If bad or rotten wood is discovered, it will be replaced at a price of $50 per sheet.


3. Homeowner Responsibilities

Customers will cover any valuables in attic or other exposed areas that may be exposed to debris from the construction process.
Customers will remove any valuables from walls and shelves that could fall due to vibration during construction.
Customers will secure all pets during all phases of construction.


4. Property & Damage Acknowledgements

Customers have been informed that in rare cases during construction process, vibration may cause plaster and drywall blemishes or cracks that are out of control and responsibility of Whitney Roofing & Guttering LLC.
Customers acknowledge that Whitney Roofing & Guttering LLC is not responsible for mold or damages that may result of mold.


5. Cleanup & Safety

Construction crews will clean up all job related debris and run magnet in yard and around house.
Construction crews are licensed and insured.
Construction crews will maintain safety requirement at all times during the construction process.


6. Payment Terms

Customer agrees to pay for Whitney Roofing & Guttering LLC materials and labor as itemized under materials and labor sections.
With the ongoing market fluctuations on materials, pricing is only good for (30 days).
If payments are not made as provided above, customer agrees to reimburse Whitney Roofing & Guttering LLC for all of the expenses of collection, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, whether or not a suit is filed.


Notice to Customer

Failure of this contractor to pay those persons supplying material or services to complete this contract can result in the filing of a mechanics lien on the property which is the subject of this contract pursuant to Chapter 429, RSMO.

 

To avoid this result you may ask this contractor for “lien waivers” from all persons supplying material or services for the work described in this contract. Failure to secure lien waivers may result in your paying for labor and materials twice.
